Palestinian Maftoul 450g
Maftoul imported from Palestine. Bag contains 450g.
Recipe:
Fry onions with diced chicken for 2 minutes in a heavy saucepan. To the saucepan, add all dry ingredients, drained chickpeads, and cover with water.
Put the maftoul in the top part of a couscous pan to steam and cover the pan with it's lid (alternatively, you can add the maftoul to a colander, place a cloth under the colander and place over the saucepan that contains the chicken, then cover the top of the colander with aluminium foil).
Stir the the maftoul occasionally.
Let the saucepan simmer for 25 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
Serve the maftoul with the chicken and chickpeas.
Storage instructions: Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
